I’d like to learn about Indonesia’s culture?

I have a presentation due about Indonesia. I’ve already looked up the facts on the CIA website (head of govt, GDP, etc) but I really want to learn a bit about Indonesia’s culture.
What do Indonesians like to do for fun? What is the teen scene?
Are there any famous actors that everyone in Indonesia is raving about currently?
What’s in fashion there?
What’s the most popular food?
Which city has the most tourists in it? Bali?
If there are any people from Indonesia out there, I would LOVE to learn about your culture, not just for my presentation, but because it’d be really interesting, just in general.

Really glad you’re intresting of my country. Basically, Indonesian worked in agriculture. Especially in the village. Our capital is Jakarta that located in Java Island (one of our main islands). Because of differences in geographic, way of life, etc, so we have difference way of life too. From metropolitan city such as Jakarta, Medan, Surabaya, etc. Until small village, even tribe area we have in Indonesia. For citizen that live in the city, our way of life is similar with other modern country in the world. They like to go for malls, cafes, dischoteques. Teen scene in the city is differ from village. In the big city, they’re more freedom to speech, love, and even for sex. Many local actors here, several go international already. Fashion style is more asian-western style, bcause we have only 2 seasons (rainy & summer). Many popular local food & foreign food (we have kfc, mcd, wendys, sizzler, japanese, indian, arabian, malayan, etc) you must try our local food. Bali is the most popular tourist destination here. Also we have many different tourist sites such as toba lake in Sumatra, Bunaken in Manado, Borobudur in Java, etc, etc. If you need more, please don’t hesitate to email me. Hope I could help
