Indonesia borders with Malaysia on the island of Kalimantan, with Papua New Guinea on the island of Papua, and Timor Leste in the Timor
Island. Other neighboring countries are Singapore, the Philippines, Australia, and the unity and Nikobar Andaman Islands in India.
After 350 years of Dutch colonialism, Indonesia declares independence at the end of World War II. History of Indonesia affected by many
